Developed by the Kerala State Science and Technology Museum under the Department of Higher Education, its first phase \u2014 the Science Centre \u2014 is now open to visitors, offering state-of-the-art galleries, interactive exhibits, and immersive experiences. Spread across 47,147 sq ft, the Science Centre features multiple themed galleries, including a Fun Science Gallery with nearly 50 engaging exhibits on electromagnetism, sound, mathematics, and brain-teasers; an Emerging Technology Gallery highlighting modern innovations in health, energy, IT, materials and space science; and a Marine Life & Science Gallery that introduces visitors to the wonders of aquatic ecosystems through detailed models and habitat illustrations. Adding to these indoor attractions is an outdoor Science Park with over 30 interactive installations that allow children and students to experience scientific principles first-hand. Facilities such as a 3D theatre, activity and exhibition halls, seminar and conference spaces, and a dedicated children\u2019s activity centre make the visit even more enriching.<\/p>\n

Future development plans include a planetarium, advanced AR\/VR theatres, motion simulators, a night-sky observatory, a musical fountain with light-and-sound shows, and a vast biodiversity park featuring native forest species, medicinal plants, orchids, fruit trees and more \u2014 transforming the campus into a holistic blend of science, nature, and recreation.
